He looks a lot rougher in that pic than the one on BBC. But if she was a leader in AA, it sounds like she was working on getting her life in order.

I suspect the picture on the BBC was from when she was younger. She still looks good for her age and having had 5 kids.
Her obituary said she was a “free spirit”... which can be interpreted a number of ways... including (to me) a commentary on the guy she was with. The neck tattoo he has suggests to me he isn’t exactly the typical family-type of guy.
Still... I don’t want to be hard on her. I feel really bad for the 5 kids. But the obituary did indicate there was a co-parenting (presumably with the bio-father) arrangement going on with a different guy
. So I hope the kids will be okay.

Yes, the real tragedy is the kids. So often this sort of thing just creates five more crackheads. I hope they have good support.
